Client Shoot – Life In The Now

Life In The Now

So for anyone who knows me I love challenges, and today was a big challenge. My lawyer Dean Jackson has had a project in the works for a while and he was finally ready to take it to the masses. Due to scheduling we only had a day to create a lot of visuals pieces for his new project, Life In The Now.

Dean JacksonWe started the day off doing a photo shoot to get the visuals for the CD and other marketing materials. Well one great thing happened, Dean is a natural in front of the camera. So many times the creative photo process is diminished because the person in front of the camera just won’t open up or doesn’t understand what you are seeing or needing. Dean was great, we had great communication thru the session and he got what I was asking for.

Next we jumped to logo design. Now, this process should be one that takes a lot of time, research and testing. Our deadline was lunch 🙂 I had a few ideas jump into my head, I flushed them out pretty quickly, and wow got lucky, Dean really liked the direction and the final design so we made the lunch deadline!

After getting refueled with some great Indian food, we jumped into the CD packaging and business card designs. The image above ended up being the cover design, and boy am I proud of it.

If only every day could go so smooth, it was a fun, creative, busy day and the client was very happy with the results! Thanks Dean for coming to me with your creative needs.

My day with Dieter was amazing! Very rarely do you get to watch someone who is both a business person and an artist perform their magic. I am so pleased with Dieter’s work. He is a joy to work with as well, because besides a great photographer/artist/business person, he is also a wonderful human being. You can tell that not only is he intensely passionate about his work, he also cares about the people he’s working with. That shines through in the final product–an intangible that cannot be bought. I highly, highly recommend going to Dieter for any photo or other creative projects.
