Building New PhotoStudio

For a while now I’ve been dreaming of a new studio, I’ve been working in a warehouse and it’s been great, but I really want to take it to the next level and have a dedicated full on studio. So with a little brain storming and some help from my friends, I’m going to build my studio.

New Office IdeasI’m thinking a wall that will house a 60″ TV for viewing picture, presentations and tethered shooting (Models can see themselves while we shoot) I’m wanting a 36″ x 12′ Glass Desk with a frame made from angle Iron. The studio will have 3 walls to shoot on. One wall will have a 6 roll backdrop system. Wall two will be white and I will be able to hang 12′ Muslin Backdrops from it with ease. Wall three will be 24′ feet of open goodness, plan on building sets against that wall. The Ceiling is 21′ tall. I will have a bathroom with model make up counter, will have a work room for Gear, Tools and Very Small Kitchenette, which can double as another model make up area. then will have second floor 9′ x 24′ for prop/costumes storage. EPIC! Will post pics soon and it should be ready to go by next week! Sore and Tired!
